We are a month away from the first Bills preseason game, so I’m itching to talk Buffalo Bills as is any other Bills fan. I could talk about the negatives, like Aaron Kromer or another season with a question mark at quarterback. I could also talk about the headlines, like Rex Ryan jumping out of a plane, or the Rolling Stones playing at Ralph Wilson Stadium this past weekend. Instead I wanted to talk about something that fans could generally discuss and maybe even reminisce upon. So I bring to you my all-time Buffalo Bills roster. There’s some obvious ones of course but there’s always going to be someone who thinks so and so should be on the list. I didn’t put in a fullback because I had to have 2 RBs out of respect, so quick shout out to Darien Barnes. This list is based on the player’s years with the Bills only.

Last but not least the greatest Play-by-Play guy the Buffalo Bills have ever had: Van Miller, who recently passed away at the age of 87. Van was a Buffalo sports icon; what Rick Jeanneret is to the Sabres he was to the Bills. In his long and storied career that included 4 Super Bowl appearances, he called 605 Bills games and was passionate about every single one. Thank you Van.

As with any all-time list, it’s subjective and up for debate. See something you disagree with or that I missed? Tweet @hardfoulsports or email hardfoulsports@gmail.com.
